Hey all, haven't posted in quite awhile. My DGF and I are doing the DxDP in late Sept. for 7 nights. So far, we have the following dinner reservations:

Coral Reef
Cali Grill
Narcoosee's
Rose and Crown - a fam fav
Jiko
Le Cellier
ESPN Club - my 25th Bday, Jets vs. Dolphins Sunday Night football. HUUUGE Jets fan.

We also have a lunch scheduled at Chefs de France. Anything you suggest we do? Looking for incredible snack, lunch and appetizer/dessert recommendations. TIA!

Derek

When doing deluxe, the best plan is to have only 2 sit down dinners per day at TS. What we do is usually a 2ts meal for dinner and a breakfast and use snack credits to fill in the blanks if necessary. You should try one of the dinner shows, for two credits you get alcohol and tip included. Hoop de doo review is our favorite. Now is the time to try anything you have always wanted to do at Disney. You will love Cali Grill and Narcoossee.

I would also recommend getting your reservations book as soon as possible. Since you are going during free dinning, the places book very quickly.

Have fun!

You have to do a dinner show. We did the dining plan for the first time last year and did the Spirit of Aloha Show and as soon as we decided we were going back (in just 28 days :cool1:) that was the one place DH insisted on booking right away. There are so many choices in Epcot but don't forget the resorts. There are so many different options.

Are you saying that places that require 2T credits the tip is in there and you can have alcohol? we are doing the DxDP in December and I'm just trying to figure this plan out.

No, the pp only meant the dinner shows, like HDDR, Spirit of Aloha, etc. :goodvibes

I believe the poster was referring to dinner shows.

We just did the DxDDP a few months ago and loved it. We had a similar plan as a poster above -- we ate 2 TS meals per day that equalled out to 3 credits per day. We normally scheduled a 1-credit breakfast TS and then a 2-credit dinner TS. Or, in the alternative, we scheduled an early lunch (11:30/noon) at a TS restaurant (such as Coral Reef or LeCellier that you have listed) and then we did a dinner show later that night that equals 2 credits, or else a late dinner at a 2-credit restaurant. As a side note, when you book Calif Grill, don't forget to schedule your dinner time around when Wishes is showing that night.

For snack credits, we simply got whatever we wanted whenever we wanted! No worries about running out of credits on the DxDDP.....in the end, we did have leftover credits so we used them on micro popcorn that we could pack in our luggage to use at home. Also got some poptarts for a quick breakfast the next morning before catching our early flight back home.

As others have pointed out, I am referring to the dinner shows. They are the only places that have alcohol and tips included. Cinderellas Royal Table has tip included, but not alcohol. All of these are for two credits. Most 2 credit meals do not include alcohol or tips.

We are also going in December. When will you be there?

We will be there the 12th-17th. It will be DS5 first trip and his birthday is on the 13th. :yay:

We did did deluxe and we liked having 3 meals a day. We would split a meal at lunch to save credits. They rarely charged for the extra soft drink and it was great to get out of the heat and crazyness for an hour mid day. Even the kids were ready to eat again. We did have extra snacks that we got lollipops and cookies for souveniers. Crystal Palace is the best breakfast buffet, but Princess in Norway includes the Picture.

Dinner at the Castle was wonderful one of our best meals.
