My husband and I will be at Universal on June 12th, and we're going to do both IOA and US in one day. We'll be staying at RPR, so we will have the FOTL benefit. Do you have any advice about which park to do in the morning and which one to do in the afternoon? We were previously planning on doing IOA first, but with the Simpsons ride will that still be the best choice? How easy will it be to do both parks in one day with FOTL in June?

Since a lot of people are begining thier vacations in june it can get quite busy but since the day you are going is a week day and not a weekend you should be able to do it although I like to tell people to do atleast two days so that you can do 1 day at each park.
Since you will have FOTL then it will be possible and others may disagree with the simpsons ride I say do IOA first in my experiance we found IOA to be the busiest so I would go with your plan and do all the major rides and then hit US and do all its major rides and since both parks are open until 8:00pm you should be able to do what you want.
Have a great time :goodvibes

I would agree also I think doing IOA first is a good strategy. I havent seen crowds in June but will probably be bad. Getting IOA done early would be nice.

Someone who goes more frequently could probably help you with a strategy plan but from what I saw and what I read about the hulk and spiderman a lot of people go for right off the back so possibly doing the park opposite would make your lines almost non existant. We were there yest and it seemed a lot of things on that side of the park had almost no lines before noon.

The big thing there I think would be if your going to see the shows or just do the rides and if you want to repeat anything. Also if you have any interest in doing certain rides like Cat in the hat etc aimed more towards kids but I thought was a pretty fun ride. We had mostly 45 min waits yest. which I cant imagine express being that long even in June and were able to get almost all rides done. We did skip some like Twister and Jaws since we have seen it before but early in morning there was no line at all we could of walked on and got them done. We opted to skip them but we did ride Jurassic park 3 times and Dueling dragons 3 times also. I think seeing absolutely everything in 1 day in June I dont think would be completely feasable but with a minor tweak and maybe some decent planning on what others are going to do you can avoid some of the waits.

Hope that helps,
Jonny
