Doing all Epcot tier one's in one day

It does, they give you a paper FP to come back later, it's usually good for a long time. There will be an exp date on the paper FP

I swear ours last trip said "valid only on" and then that days date. Was a few years ago though, I guess it must have changed.

Not for nuthin' but... Couldn't they drop living with the land down to a lower tier now?

Except the point is not to NOT ride alone; the point is to have someone chaperoning your child. At other theme parks, the whole family waits in line and then mom or dad switch off at the exit. Waiting in line only once. Since Disney does not let patrons below the height requirement in line, they have offered the rider swap/switch passes so the second person can bypass waiting and not have to wait in line twice simply because a member of their party is too short.

Being in the single rider line is in the best interest of everyone because it ensures the ride is filled to capacity. That is a good thing regardless of rider swap usage. And other rides still allow doing single rider and getting a rider swap.
Being in the single rider line is in the best interest of everyone-giving those people rider swaps is not. They are good for up to 3 people for and as evidenced here on the boards many people with a child to small to ride use this feature to double their fast passes for popular rides. I suspect the majority of those who would use rider swap at the single rider line would be returning with 2-3 people and therefore increasingly the wait for everyone else. The single rider line wait time at TT is also typically significantly less than the standby time so waiting in it twice would be about the same (as doing the standby once getting the rider swap and doing the FP line) or one could use their tier 1 fast pass for everyone to ride it.

I thought they had to have something 'low key' as tier 1 for those unable to do the 'thrill' rides...similar to GMR at DHS?
But in the Tiered parks, guests can now book 3 Tier 2 rides for their initial 3. Maybe they are leaving Land in Tier 1 for the guests who think they have to choose a Tier 1?

Or they haven't figured out that you can now get 3 tier 2s...or - LWTL is just better with no one using a FP for it! :)

See above - I meant it only in the context of an attraction with a single rider line. Sorry!

I'm still rather confused, because other attractions allow you to get rider swap in the single rider line.... so I'm not sure why it's an issue at all.

Thank goodness for that!! I actually met an IT guy in the parks and explained to him that I wanted that option for Epcot specifically. I was on a trip with just me and my 15 month old and had no use for the roller coasters, but wanted Fast Pass for 1. Nemo, 2. Turtle talk and 3. Figment as those were the attractions most appealing to my toddler. I'm glad that I have the option now.

Do all your adults want to ride FEA??? If not, I suggest:

Adult 1 takes tall and small child on Frozen (using their Tier 1 FP+)
Adult 2 rides Soarin' alone (using their Tier 1 FP+) and get a rider switch ticket for adult 1 and 3 and tall child
Adult 3 rides Test Track alone (using their Tier 1 FP+) and get a rider switch ticket for adult 1 and 2 and tall child

People may say this is manipulating the system, honestly if you have ever had to get two parties through the Soarin and Test Track lines it still takes plenty of time and it is allowed, not against the rules or cheating.

As for Rider Switch tickets having multiple days to use, also not manipulating the system, sometimes your youngest child cant wait for two parties to go through the attraction and you need to move on an come back to it later, and sometimes that later becomes later in the week. We had this on a very busy day in MK. I had taken our tall child on Splash with a FP+ and DH had taken him on Big Thunder, but it was hot and busy and it still took alot of time, little one started to lose it. We had to call it quits and head home for the day. We didn't get back to 3 days later to use those tickets so I could ride Big Thunder and DH Splash.

Thanks for this, this could help in my situation too. I feel like we have to do Frozen because it's new and something DS2 can go on, but DS8 already said he'll plug his ears if it has Let It Go and DH could probably care less.
