I just have to share this.
I just got back from all 3 kids' parent teacher conferences and they are ALL doing well this year!
The BIG news
1) Karissa is ON PAR!
Academically she is completely where she is supposed to be!
For those of you who have followed her saga though all of these years you know how big of a deal that is. ( we need a happy cry smile) And what I was so worried about this year with her making friends. Apparently she gets along great and has a ton of friends!
2) Kaylee is way ahead in her reading and they said that if her math picks up she will be probably be a candidate for the GATE program in 2 years
SO she has made a huge jump this year!
I wonder if it has anything to do with her getting a teacher who loves to teach? And one that praises each child for doing something right
3) and finally, My Cameron, he has been doing a lot better ( remember the whole not turning in the homework ordeal form earlier this year?) I walked in and she just looked at me and said " WOW what a change!" I said " Hallelujah!" LOL. He has not had a late paper in 2 1/2 weeks and has gotten straight A's since then as well. She said it was like a light bulb finally went off and he figured it out!
So, celebrate with me my friends! This is rare occasion to go a school for meetings and come out with such a great feeling about all of my kids
Champagne all around!
