Doin' the 30 day dance!!

I can't believe that after many, many months of planning, waiting, etc., our family is now just a month away from
OUR FIRST TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!

This is a surprise trip for my 2 daughters (5 & 8), and just thinking about finally telling them the morning we leave for Orlando brings tears to my eyes.

I can't believe it's finally almost here....

We are at the 20 day dance and are talking about it all the time ... and we go every year ... sometimes twice.

There is just something magical about DisneyWorld ... especially through the eyes of children. Our DS(6) has been going since 13 months and prior to his arrival we had been 5 or six times ourselves. But, each and every trip we take with him is more magical than before.... seeing things through his eyes is absolutely miraculous.

One suggestion -- Be sure to get your regular naps in. With us when we skipped them we paid dearly later in the day -- in many ways -- as I'm sure you will understand.

This is the only trip we take when I can wake my son up at 5am and say it is time to go to the airport and DisneyWorld ... and he sits straight up in bed with a smile on his face and is looking for his clothes so he can get dressed and leave.

Have an absolutely magical time.

I've got goosebumps just thinking about my daughts' reactions when they find out!!

The WL is going to be on the travel channel tomorrow (we're staying at the WL)-I'm thinking about taping it, then adding a part to the tape with my husband and me telling my girls that "WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!" at the end of the program. My daughters' usually watch TV when they first get up in the morning, so we could put this on for them to see...???

christyj what a great idea...they would probably sit there looking at the tv cockeyed for a minute or two...but then be like what!!!.....i think you should do it!!!

What a great idea! Let us know how the suprise announcement went! We stayed at the WL last year and fell in love with it.

This year, we will be at SoG and the YC. I hear that WL is gorgeous when it is decorated for Christmas! We plan on popping over there to check out the decorations. Have a wonderful trip!!

I FINALLY can be a part of the 30 day crew! I need this Disney trip more than ever. Sadly, I am having issues finding 3 Day Park Hoppers...argh.

But it's all good b/c I'm going to Disney World!!!
