Doin it in Style @ The Poly! September 2010 Here we Come!!!

Ha-ha I am waiting for her to post the disneyland paris pictures! We both had a different set on our laptops so I havent seen hers for a long time :rotfl:

Am I wrong in assuming that you should be able to do your adr's now? do you have a ptr as well? feel like I should get caught up with your trip as well :)

:cheer2: :dance3: Woo Hoo :dance3: :cheer2:

We are finally done with our planning and have planned all the days and ADR's. I am going to post them tomorrow as we have done it in Word format, so I need to print it out to use as a guide. I am so glad its done though and we feel so much better now

Can't wait to share with you guys :yay:

Have a great evening, off to go enjoy the rest of mine before bed.

Ciao for now

I cant wait for you to share with us your plans-- :yay:

:woohoo:for getting the list finalised

:happytv: and eagerly tuning in tomorro to see what you've decided!!! I only have 7 ADR's but trying to get them booked in around wishes, fantasmic, meeting friends, park hours etc was definitely an exciting/anxious experience...

I can't believe I missed you reply. I swear it wasn't there this morning :flower3:

It is hard to plan around meeting up with others and shows etc. We are going to have to cancel our plans for a Dis Meet Drink Around the World as we just don't have enough time to place it anywhere :(

Not fair!!!!!!!!!!:sad2:

:lmao: Just kidding! Have a magical day today! :goodvibes

 patience my dear, patience :goodvibes

I may have to steal her away from the laptop tonight to look after me, i am not well. Suffering with Man Flu........very serious condition

Hmmmm, I suppose I could tear myself away from the Dis to look after you

I hope that you are feeling better soon.

OOOh, lunch at Sanaa. We're going to try that too. I can't wait!

Tell Stefy to get on with the postings!!! We are all patiently waiting......... popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:::surfweb::surfweb::surfweb:

Well you're just in time, first two days are up, plus arrival day :)

Lol, yes we have to laugh when Man Flu is mentioned as you just know how thats going to go if you know a guy that has it

Lookin good!
We love lunch at LTT, it's a MK day tradition- though we're skipping it this year. There's a delicious salad on the menu but I can't remember what it's called... Colonial salad, maybe?

Loving your choices so far! :) We are eating at Cali Grill on our trip, too!

Isn't it so difficult to make decisions about the meals? I feel like the greatness of our trip depends on it. I also worry though because I do not want to plan too many things to do because I did that last time and I was sick by the end of the trip. :sad2:

Thank you :goodvibes It does feel good doesn't it to have it down and ready to go, fingers crossed it can stay unchanged come Friday when we book our ADR's.

With regards to your question, I myself think that mid week would be a good time to go if not Monday (thats Dave's theory for Monday). Most people tend to start their vacation at the weekend and hit Disney first, so Monday might be an MK day for instance, they might not visit US/IoA until after they have done all the parks in Disney first.

I think we went on a Wednesday on our 2008 trip and it was empty in US in the morning and nearly empty, but still lovely, in the afternoon at IoA. We are going to aim for a Wednesday this year, if not Tuesday.

But I am going with the mindset that it will be busier than normal because of Harry Potter, so my theory may get blown out the window.

I hope that helps :goodvibes

Yes, thank you, that helps a lot! :thumbsup2 It definitely makes sense that people arriving on the weekend (when most do), would go to the Disney parks first. We'll try to go as early in the week as we can.

Your plans so far look great! :goodvibes Since you'll be eating breakfast at Captain Cook's, you can go up to the Kona Coffee stand on the second floor and use a snack credit on a good cup of coffee (if you guys drink it). :)

The first 2 days look great:thumbsup2 I'm so jealous of your CA Grill dinner. That place is just so yummy:goodvibes

I will have you know, Man flu is a very serious condition that effects 100% of men at least 5 times during their life span and is not to be taken lightly :rolleyes1

One of the issues I had thought about with the DXDP was that we would spend to much time travelling and sitting down in restaurants. Then I thought does it really matter when we are young and can have plenty more trips to WDW so take the time to relax and enjoy ourselves. Besides, the food at WDW is probably worth it ;)

Yes, thank you, that helps a lot! :thumbsup2 It definitely makes sense that people arriving on the weekend (when most do), would go to the Disney parks first. We'll try to go as early in the week as we can.

You will love Universal! Stefy made me laugh when she got scared on the Jaws ride and also on the mummy. There is a room with virtual beatles that come out of the walls and well lets just say it does look real :rotfl:

Really looking forward to this one, think we had it booked on the last trip but never got to do it so im pleased we are going to start the trip in a really good way.

Going to MK on our first full day is a tradition for us. Can't wait to try LTT for lunch, read a review recently and they have the most divine looking Rocky Road Chocolate Brownie that looks heavenly :cloud9:

You do feel like the meals dictate your planning, but then part of Disney is the restaurants too. Suppose its just figuring out the best way to utilise your time eating and playing etc.

I am worried about getting ill on this trip, but am trying not to think about it and taking vitamin supplements to help boost my immune system. As I am fed up of getting ill when I go on holiday.

Yes, thank you, that helps a lot! :thumbsup2 It definitely makes sense that people arriving on the weekend (when most do), would go to the Disney parks first. We'll try to go as early in the week as we can.

Oh good, glad I could be of help :goodvibes

Thank you. So you can use Snack Credits at Kona Island? I am looking forward to trying Kona Coffee :goodvibes

The first 2 days look great:thumbsup2 I'm so jealous of your CA Grill dinner. That place is just so yummy:goodvibes

Thanx, can't wait to try Cali as it looks like a really nice place to spend your evening for dinner.

I will have you know, Man flu is a very serious condition that effects 100% of men at least 5 times during their life span and is not to be taken lightly :rolleyes1

Hmmmmmmmmm ok then

Yes was not keen on Jaws. Love love love the Mummy ride, but the scarab beetles are not fun, but you don't linger too long there though. Hated them in the film, esp the first one at the beginning

Before I get on to Day 3 and 4 I wanted to share Dave's Easter presents with y'all as I think the first one is cute and I love the second one.

I don't know if you guys get a Cadburys ad over there, but this lil guy is from a Cadburys Ad, its basically a man in a Gorilla suit playing the drums to Phil Collins In the Air Tonight. A totally awesome ad and v popular when it came out. Youtube it if you are interested, is really cool.

I also got him this

If you watch How I Met Your Mother then you will recognise the phrase. Dave loves Barney and does not stop randomly saying Legendary or Suit Up to me at times  Bless him.

I also won another t shirt this week and a Disney one at that too :goodvibes

Ok thats it for now.

Ciao for now

I love your plans so far! Everything sounds great! You will have to tell me how you like Cali Grille. I can't get Joe to go back there and try it again. :confused3

Also, have you done CRT for dinner yet? If so, what did you think that first time you went? We've gone twice.

I too would love to try LTT. I'm trying to figure out how to work it in this trip. Joe, my nephew and I went on our trip together and we all loved it. We were there for dinner.

Cute Easter gifts that you got for Dave. :woohoo:

Plans are looking good! We're trying a couple places that you're going to for the first time in June. I've also been to CRT dinner twice, but that was before they changed it to all of the princesses. I'll be interested to hear about the differences.

Ooo terrific dining choices so far!!

I LOVE Le Cellier! If you like cheese, I recommend the Cheddar Cheese soup...omgoodness it is delicious! :goodvibes Even if you don't like cheese, all the food there is delcious!! Mmm I can't wait to eat in there in a little over a month!! I am literally drooling over here! :lmao:

Plans look great so far!

We had lunch at LTT last summer and the Tavern Fried cheese was delish!!! Also, I know you've got your eye on the brownie, but the toffee dessert was to die for!
