Dogs - at least my dogs - are very touchy-feely. They like to snuggle up with each other at night, fall asleep in the evenings on me (be it my foot or my lap) and are always on the look out for a tummy tickle! Soppy things!

I adopted my Boxer mix 13 yrs ago as a puppy who had kennel cough. About a week with us at home he was coughing up alot of phlegm and off to the vet he went AGAIN. He ended up in the animal hospital with IV antibiotics for pneumonia. I would sit on the floor, give him breathing treatmants, give him a morning shot in the leg and shove pills down his throat!
He must have known I saved his life because he has been my sidekick ever since. The entire family lets me know how mopey he gets when I leave, whether a few days OR a few hours! It's nice to be his everything, I have to admit!

I have a Velcro dog 🐕 I literally have to peel him off of me so I can go to bed the one thing he does not do is sleep in my bed not because I don’t want him to he’ll sleep there for about 10 minutes and then he’s up to the floor roams around Change the spots about 50 times he does not stay put while I’m sleeping otherwise he is stuck right to me
