We need some new toys for our Onslow. He has a couple of chew/tug toys so we're looking for some interactive or puzzle type toys for him. He has a Kong but really doesn't bother with it much. No idea how to get him interested in that:confused3

So where do we look for these toys? Already get the catalogs from Drs. Smith and Foster. Also got a Jeffers catalog today. Any others we should try?

TIA

I buy my dog Busy Buddy brand stuff. She is VERY smart and needs something to keep her interest. If I don't give her something to do, she finds something and it usually isn't good. She has the Bouncy Bone, which you buy little rawhide rings and put on the ends of it and they chew off the rings. She also has the Waggle, which you stuff with treats or food (I take a handful of her food out of her bowl so she doesn't get any extra food or anything) and they have to get out. She throws it around the room or chews on it depending on her mood. I bought both of these at Target, but I think I saw them at Petsmart and possibly Walmart or Kmart, too. Here's the website... busybuddytoys.com

Also, have you tried stuffing the Kong with peanut butter? My dog won't touch the Kong without peanut butter in it. It keeps her out of my hair for a while. My other dog used to love playing with her Kong and we never stuffed it until we got my dog and she wouldn't touch hers. Now neither dog will touch it without anything in it.

I love the toys from this company:

They offer interactive, puzzle type toys such as the hide-a-squirrel or the I-Cube. They are reasonably durable (not indestructible). My Scottie has enjoyed these. She also enjoys the Busy Buddy toys Simba mentioned. I put treats in these and she spends her time working to get the goodies. She also enjoys her Nylabone wishbone. I have ordered many toys from dog.com and been pleased. The super cheap toys don't always last long, but she gets a dollar or two worth of fun from them.

See the link for the interactive toys. Good luck.

My dog has a Tricky Treat and she LOVES it.

I'm not sure where to find them in the US, but I think they might sell them on Amazon?

We are looking into getting her some more toys like this because she is getting into EVERYTHING at the stage she's in (7 months). We need to keep her occupied. I'm going to go check some of the other links now.:goodvibes
