Well, my poor baby (dog) has Bronchitis. Oreo has been coughing for 2 weeks. We took her to the vet twice and they increased her steroid (which she takes for allergies) and gave her a bronchodilater. It didn't help. She coughed every time she got up, or ate, or drank, or rolled over. So, when she didn't get better, I took her back to her old vet and they did a chest x-ray. Turns out she has bronchitis. The antibiotic seems to be working and we actually slept through the night last night. :cool1: Does anyone know how long it takes for a dog to get over this? I think she may have picked it up at the vet's when she had surgery a month ago to remove her toe. She has been to the Dr. way too much lately. Thanks for reading. It was time for a little whine! :teeth:

I never would have thought a dog could get bronchitis! My daughter gets bronchitis fairly often and has to use a bronchodilator. Usually DD's bronchitis is gone by the end of her antibiotics (10 days). I hope Oreo is feeling better soon!
