I know it's been discussed in the past, but it's getting closer to my trip. Where can I find them, and do we order ahead of time?

I've only seen them at the GF and you'd order them through them to be eaten at one of thei restaurants or if you are a guest there, room service. You need to give them at least 48 hours notice.

Call the Grand Floridian at: 407-824-3186 and ask to be directed to the Bakery.

Tell the Bakery what you would like to order and how many of whatever you're ordering.

Let the Bakery know where you will be eating, what day, and the time. Let them know you would like to have these special desserts for dessert.

The Bakery will ask for your credit card number so have it ready.

You'll need to be eating at one of the GF restaurants in order to have these desserts.

We were able to order them to go at this number, 407 824-2978(direct line to the bakery, we were told). We picked them up at the Lobby Entrance to 1900 Park Faire and they were packed in cake boxes and served on white chocolate plates. The cost was $14.00.

So we could get them for carry out and take back to our hotel?

That number is the direct number for 1900 Park Fare restaurant.

I think it depends on who you talk to. I was told they are too delicate to be transported out of the GF. But of course, you can try as some have reported success.

This is the GF's direct number #407-824-3000. You can ask them to be transferred to the bakery.

I ordered this on our trip in Nov 04. The presentation was beautiful!! We had this at our dinner at 1900 Park Fare. It was a little on the pricey side but worth it in my opinion. I ordered the Cinderella Slipper as well and my DD's were so surprised! I called the bakery directly about 2 weeks before our trip. Enjoy!

That is the key! My mother tired ordering one for me for my birthday dinner and asked to have it delivered to the Kona Cafe. They told her because the ingredients can spoil, no, they have to be eaten in a GF restaurant. She also asked if my DH could pick one up and they told her no.

Then we tried getting them for our trip with my mother to surprise her. After playing phone tag with the bakery the chef finally left us that direct number. We called there and asked if we could have it delivered to Mizners Lounge(knowing what we had been told before and we werent planning on eating at the GF, just drinking around the monorail). The chef we spoke with told us "you can just pick it up at the lobby entrance". Go figure!
