We're hoping to board our dog in our home town, but because our vacation technically starts the Saturday after Thanksgiving I need to book NOW. Is there anywhere near Disney that boards dogs? Our rescue has severe separation anxiety so we couldn't leave her at the Disney one by herself, she'd need a little more attention than they offer.

Have you heard of DogVacay? I have friends that have used that service and really like it. I'm sure they must have people in the Anaheim area.

I will second Dogvaycay.com. I am dropping my puppy off to a Dogvaycay sitter tomorrow (non DL related trip unfortunately).

It is a listing of local independent pet sitters. You can search by area and see their reviews. Most will want a meet and greet ahead of time but sure that there are Anaheim folks that are used to Disney bound owners.

I don't know the name of it, but there is a veterinary clinic on Lincoln, close to the 5 fwy., in a small shopping center with a Starbucks. I've seen signs that say they do boarding. It is about 5 minutes north of the parks. If we pass it again soon, I'll edit this post to add the name.

ETA: Yelp lists the name as Anchor Animal Hospital. The website doesn't list boarding, but that may be a new offering. If they don't board, I'm sure they can recommend a nearby place, especially since they are so close to the parks.
