Doesn't this seem reasonable?

Tomorrow I go for my pulmonary function tests. Dr. told me to make an appt. with him for Monday. ALl they had was 3:00. I'd have to leave work at 1:30. If my tests are NORMAL, there is no point taking 1/2 day off to go see him...maybe I can ask them to just tell me on phone if all is normal? I mean, why waste his time and mine?

Maybe you could just reschedule it to a time that is more convenient for you. I agree if all is normal whats the point of going in, but why are you having the test? Maybe if its normal , he may have to advise you of other options or further tests.

on MOnday afternoons and 3:00 is the latest appt. UGH.

He knows I am seeing my cardiologist (who he knows well) a week later to get that area checked out also.
