Does your school give you the chance to go somewhere foreign/far away?

My middle school does, they give us the chance to go to Norway, London and France.

Last year, my High School band went to Canada.
The art club went to Italy.

In 2009 my band in going to London. The band trips are in the US, but we got invited to march in a parade there so yeah.

Well I'm homeschooled so I could go where ever I wanted to.

But my old public school would never send us off to a foreign country.

My highschool's German teacher always took a group of students to Germany and Austria over spring break every year, but I never went.

But mostly every college has a Study Abroad program where you can spend a semester, summer, or full-year abroad practically anywhere you want to go.

I'm going to be going to Perugia, Italy for the Fall '08 semester. I can not wait, it's going to be amazing.

We normally go to U.S places, like eigth grade goes to N.Y.C every year, but the high school goes to places like Italy, Germany, Paris, etc. All over.

if you take french for 2 years you can go to Paris
german- to germany
and spanish- i think its mexico.

yes! a bunch of that is offered! i'm in marching band and last year we go to go to the Bahamas! and this year we went to New York! but a lot of clubs in my school attend conventions everywhere! French club is going to France! wanted to go but too much for me! so it sucks i won't get to use my french i have learned. but there is a lot!

No.But my old world cultures and peer counseling teacher took kids from our school to Italy.Next year he's taking kid's somewhere else.

He doesn't do it through the school though.

jah, personally I went to Germany. I lived in a town called Lampertheim. But its an actual exchange, not hey lets go tour for a week or two.

Even though Iturned them down I had a chance to go to two other places in the world. I cannot remember what places they were but I think one was Barcelona. I had the chance to go with a bunch of other kids bacause I was one of the 30 or so smartest kids in the nation.

i use to get those all the time! i got stuff from this organization called people to people, and they said i was one of the smartest people who got invited but they had a meeting and there were alot of people there! they weren't all smart. they just look for people who might have money. i'm not saying your dumb at all becasue i think you' re smart it's just sometimes they just sent it to you just because they want money. i got invited to go to Australia. It cost like $7000 to go. so i said no! if they really wanted smart people to go they would pay every single cent of each person going because they're the one that invited us right?
