Mine always looks like a tornado ran through it when I'm finished! LOL! The end result is always worth it though :goodvibes

Here's a pic of Luke very impatiently waiting for cookies to finish baking LOL!

Yes, I'm bad when it comes to messy cooking.

I keep telling my husband if I had a bigger kitchen with more counter space it wouldn't be so messy when I cook becuase I could be more organized and not have to multi-task the tiny counter I do have.

So far he's not buying it...

depends what I'm baking.

My tried and true - Oatmeal choco chip cookie is a snap. I've made them so often, I have it down to a science...so little to no mess.

however when I roll out sugar cookies...heheh. Even then I can keep it KINDA neat and the mess contained. however when I have my friend's daughters over to help...I'm cleaning up sprinkles for WEEKS!

Your kitchen looks like a show kitchen compared to how mine will look after just making a couple of cookie doughs this evening! I'm a messy person by nature; I even manage to make messes while I'm cleaning my house, so baking is definitely a messy activity for me! I'll try to remember to snap a picture of my kitchen when DD & I are done tonight to make everyone feel good about their own spotless kitchens!

Yes!! and not only is the kitchen a mess.. I am a mess.. flour all over me

I think I'm all baked out.. :teeth:

Yes my kitchen gets very messy when I make Christmas cookies!! When I make the cut out sugar cookies, I have flour everywhere! The mess seems to overwhelm me. That's why I only make the cut out cookies once a year. :teeth:

Also, it doesn't help when my DS pours the measuring cup out of the bowl instead of into the bowl. pirate: I try to be extra patient when that happens because my mom used to go crazy when I made a big mess helping her cook. Gotta love cooking with kids!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

What is it with kids and missing the bowl :confused3

Gotta love it!

The counters, the stove, the sink, the table, my granddaughter and I - all look like we've been out in a snow blizzard.. LOL :teeth: That's half the fun though and it makes such adorable photos of Grandma and granddaughter baking.. :flower:

OMG...I have that same stove in the house we're moving out of.

And yes, my kitchen gets very messy when I bake cookies....or anything else for that matter. :teeth:
