Ds1 likes waffles and sausages and Ds2 likes bacon and waffles. Ds1 likes green apples, Ds2 likes red apples. Ds1 drinks coke and Ds2 drinks sprite.

DS likes just about everything.
DD likes just about nothing.

Yes, and it can be frustrating when it comes time to make dinner. One will beg for one thing while the other cries that she doesn't like that.

oh yes, even a turkey sandwich, one likes mustard and cheese, one likes a teensy bit of mayo, one likes a normal amount of mayo...and I'm supposed to remember that my youngest likes butter only on her pancakes and not her waffles or is it only on waffles and not on pancakes!?!?!?

OMG YES!!!! It makes me nuts!!!!!!!!! I have 4 kids and none of them like the same thing.

You should see it when we stop for fast food. :rotfl2: One stop at Burger King, one at Taco Bell, one at McDonalds and one at Wendy's!!! It's madness I know. But it doesn't happen often. Only when we have the time, DH is in a good mood and the places are all in a row as they sometimes are. Otherwise they have to find something to eat or starve! :rotfl:

That's what my DH says. I can usually get it straight but I'm with them all day. He has the hardest time trying to fix a meal for them. Add to that the fact that their tastes constantly change and it's too funny.

DH: I know you like strawberries. (as he hands DD a plate full)
DD: No I don't!
DH: I just gave you some last week. You liked them then!
DD: That was last week dad!

My four are very different.

DS10-meat and potatoes kind of kid.Doesn't really like to snack.
DS8-Hates meals.Would snack all day if we would let him.Preferably on chips and yogurt.
DD6-Will eat anything.Favorite meal is a big salad with lots of tomatoes.
DD1`-Nothing but fruit.

Someone mentioned sandwiches being different.I can't even just make pb&J.One eats just jelly, one only peanut butter, and one both. The last one won't even eat bread.

OMG Momma4U, I thought my husband was the only one who drives to different fast food restaurants for the kids! My kids goes as far as to liking different types of chicken nuggets. One likes the chicken strips and the other chicken nuggets at McD's and Chickfil-a. I had them beat at Burger King since they only had one type of chicken tender, but now they have the chicken fries, but I haven't clue the kids on to those yet.

Same here!!
Two like PB with grape jelly. One with just grape jelly, no PB. And the last with PB and strawberry jelly.

I gotta say I feel so much better now knowing my family and I aren't the only crazy ones!! :rotfl2: THANKS!

Oh yes, I have been there...

DD11 likes sandwiches made with butter (ex. ham & butter), won't eat mayo
DD20 likes mayo

DD11 likes lasagna with no meat
DD20 likes lasagna with meat

DD11 likes sausage
DD20 likes bacon

DD11 doesn't want cheese on anything
DD20 loves cheese

DD11 won't eat syrup on anything, has to be honey
DD20 loves syrup

DD11 will eat raw veggies and loves fruit
DD20 hates fruit and veggies

DD11 doesn't drink pop
DD20 loves drinking pop all the time

They sometimes agree on fast food places though! :rotfl:

My kids are like that, too. DS19 loves anything from the freezer--taquitos, pot pies, pizza--as long as it's fast. DD12 loves things like pinto beans, Greek salad, cabbage. DS10 will eat anything as long as you can mash it all up like mashed potatoes--nothing crunchy. Trying to fix meals for all of them is definitly a challenge. Mostly I serve whatever my DH wants and if the kids don't like it, there's always my world famous peanut butter & jelly sandwiches(which DD hates!)

well...LOL. my DH and DD8 are so picky, i don't even know where to start, but here goes:

1. DH and i LOVE pickles, DD8 wouldn't touch a pickle to save her life.
2. i love tomatoes, DD8 won't eat them at all and DH will only eat them if they're peeled *rolls eyes*
3. DH and i LOVE salad, DD8 wouldn't eat it no matter how much we beg.
4. DH and i love chili with beans and meat, but DD8 won't eat it; however, she loves beans of pretty much any kind.
5. DH won't eat spaghetti sauce with meat
6. DD8 won't eat any kind of sandwich-grilled cheese, pb&j, turkey, etc. however, she loves buttered toast.
7. DD8 loves fruit cups, but won't eat any of the fruit included in them in their fresh form.
8. still in fruit mode...DD8's only acceptable fruits: bananas...well, bananas.
9. DD8 loves yogurt, my DH and i both think it's totally nasty and won't touch it.
10. i make a DELICIOUS crustless pizza that my DH begs for on a weekly basis-my DD8 would rather eat a single serving frozen pizza.
11. my DH had a bad experience with mashed potatoes a few years ago after having his wisdom teeth removed and now refuses to eat them at all. he also won't eat chicken at all (DD8 and i love it) b/c he once threw it up when he was a young child and was sick w/ the flu.
12. DD8 only eats fast food from bk, sonic or mcd's, and then she only gets the regular hamburger at mcd's w/ mustard and ketchup only, and chicken tenders from bk & sonic.
13. DH will only eat hamburgers from bk, sonic or dq, and these must ONLY be topped w/ mustard, onions and pickles, or they're done over. won't eat kfc at all, very infrequently will he eat taco bell or subway, and even then there's only one item on each restaurants' menu he'll deign to accept (beef burrito at tb, cold cut trio on white at subway).
14. i love fried okra, DD8 won't eat it at all and DH will only eat it if it's fried whole without breading.
15. DD8 will only eat potatoes and carrots cooked with a roast if i mash up the potatoes and carrots together, b/c i once told her that was how her maw-maw (my mom) used to do it for me and her uncle donald when we were little.

yes, i feel like i have 2 children instead of just one, lol.

My kids are the same way, but I grew tired of being a short order cook. I refuse to cater to individual requests because I don't want to get in the habit of everyone having to have something different. For example, one son wants pb&J, the other always wants ham & cheese. I used to drag everything out to make two different sandwhiches. Not anymore - they both get the same thing. But to be fair, one day it'll be pb&J, the next day I'll make the ham & cheese. Like my dh always says, "this ain't Burger King - you can't have it your way!"
