Does your guide call you while at WDW?

We purchased BWV and then BCV through the same guide, we never hear from him.

Our first and second guides did call when we were visiting, but the one we have now, we never hear from. I understand our original guide is back working as a guide again. I wish we could get him back. I really thought Randy Kruger was a great guide! We didn't actually get to buy from him though. He was promoted to a non-sales position just before we purchased. The guide we were transfered to left DVC, and our new one is difficult to get ahold of and never calls. When we wanted to add on- it took us several calls over the course of a month before she finally called back.

Betty Prikryl is our guide and has called to leave us a welcome home message when we stay at DVC resorts.

We get a message from our guide everytime we are there, something about Tuesday a meeting somewhere, at the Community Center, but we never have talked to her on the phone. It is kind of a joke to us, seeing the red light flashing and knowing it is the same message.

We've gotten a call, once, when we were considering an add-on, but none since then from our guide. I was frankly surprised that we didn't when we were home for Member Homecoming. Being as that was billed as an "Appreciation" event, I thought a "welcome home" message from our guide would have been a nice touch.

Our guide doesn't even return our *regular* phone calls, let alone call us while we're at WDW. He probably knows he's not getting any more $$ out of us, so why should he bother?

We received a Christmas card from Patrick the year we signed on the dotted line (1995), but then he went on to bigger and better things at Disney (selling Celebration, I recall). I also received a much appreciated call from our new guide Maria when there were extra points available at OKW (we bought 50 more) :).

I wouldn't mind another call if more OKW points come available to DVC, but until then I don't expect any more calls. :)

I never here from my guide. She probably reads my negative comments on this board.

yes, we got a message on our voicemail on our first trip home to BWV last month.

i thought it was a nice touch.

Our guide was great, but have never heard from him after the sale. For us, that is just fine (perhaps he even knew this) I know he will be there to help if we want to buy more. I guess I would be always questioning the motives of his calls or letters.

Yes, that would be our Betty! SHe has been very helpful, so far. Here's hoping she can get me 50 more points!!

Never called at WDW while there, but we did have a message at home after our first visit.

I don't think he keeps track of the visits anymore.

Nope - the only time my guide has called me is when I've called about doing an add-on. That's fine with me! As long as she is giving me great customer service when I need it I think she's doing a great job. I did get to see her briefly at Member Homecoming which was nice.

I don't remember any call on our last trip in December. But I have three teenagers so I never get my messages at home and I would expect the same on vacation. I could probably ask them now and get, "Oh yeah. Some lady from somewhere called about something."

I do remember that Betty called me at home when she was assigned as my guide several years ago. She was very nice. However, since I haven't added any points since 1992, I don't think my name is in their "Hot Lead" file.

I wonder if the OP and other folks who were called had added on or talked about doing so prior to their trip.
