Our last trip, I kind of coordinated our clothes.

One day we all wore POTC shirts.
Another day we all wore baseball teams (Seattle Mariners) shirts.
And another day we all wore Disney themed shirts.

The shirts were not matching, but same theme.

I am just curious to see how common this is.

I think our next trip we will not be so coordinated. Although I did just buy us matching Mickey shirts for our next trip. :)

this is our first trip to DLR and we will be wearing matching colored Tshirts. We have done this at WDW after our first trip. And we have been chosen to do some special things. We opened Magic Kingdom 2 times, we got chosen to be first family of tomorrowland (got to ride buzz first, got a free photo and 30 free anytime fastpasses), and first family at Epcot meet and greet (photo op with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto all together!)

I am 100% convinced that wearing matching Tshirts made a difference. I don't do it in hopes of being picked... I like that they match for photo's, and it is so much easier to keep track of your group.

Yes, we have in the past, all worn the same shirts. It made for some cool pictures that is for sure.

Now mostly just the kids coordinate, but only 1-2 days on our trips.

I also think it is fun. In the past we have just had some really cool boughten shirts, maybe same base color with character of choice. Sometimes same character, different picture. This year I have made Mickey Head homemade tie-dye shirts, and will also be doing some iron on from the disign boards. It is the only time/place that my family of boys allows me to direct their clothing and they go along with it pretty happily.

Our first visit 3 years ago, nope. But this year I made/gave everyone the tie-dye mickey shirts for Christmas, and there was great excitement.....and a couple of comments about "if we get separated, we can just take our shirts off and wave them over our heads"....Not this mom! :rotfl2:

Edit to add: My fellow travelers are all 21, and two of them said they'd never had a tie-dye shirt before. What's wrong with kids these days? HeeHee!

Yes. I at least coordinate the colors so that we don't clash with each other. If one person is wearing a shirt with a picture, then we all do. Much of the time, DH and 1 DS are in one colored t-shirt and myself and other DS are in another or DH and I are wearing same shirt and boys are wearing same shirt.

We TOTALLLLY do it :)

I try to make a new shirt every time we go, but it gets kind of cantankerous when you're really busy and can't make shirts to have 5 plus people match.

We haven't.

The family in front of me at the gates on my solo day were all in BRIGHT matching shirts, and they got chosen to open DL, but then they were also a large family at the front of a line, which I'm sure is one way they look to find people.

We wouldn't wear matching t-shirts, I'm sure of that. But if I became a good enough seamstress and could make button up shirts like the kind John Lasseter wears in Disney themed cottons, I'm SURE I could convince the fam, including me, to do it.

When we were at Animal Kingdom last time, we were wearing matching shirts. Kind of a light jungle green. Just solid colored t-shirts. We were chosen to ride on a float in the parade. At the time we were chosen, I was in the bathroom, so it was just DH and the 2 boys.

Jasmine, love those shirts!!!!! Too cute!!!!!!

We do, but not totally. DBF has a Hook shirt, I wear a Tink shirt when he wears that one, he also has a lot of Grumpy shirts and I have one that says "I love grumpy guys" and wear that at the same time. We have matching Jack and Sally stuff and I'm hoping to get us something piratey this trip that's is somewhat matching. The girls will wear Princess shirts on the same days and they both have Bambi shirts so they will wear those at the same time. I've always wanted to do a theme like Jas posted up there but I never have the time to do it.....

We are taking a large group (10) in Feb to celebrate my mom being done with cemo, so the women are all going to ware scarves on our heads and the guys are going to shave their heads. Its kinda scary to think of my DH bald, lol.
We are now going to look into the shirts, never did that before.

Crystal,

Look into getting your shirts through CafePress or Zazzle. You can give them a design & they will put it on the style shirt you want.

Also, here on the DIS there is a board with a lot of really talented people for coming up with designs.

Like wazowskiLOVER said, we try to wear matching shirts at least once during our trip (Thanks for making them, cousin! ;) )

She went upped it a notch last trip with those grey t-shirts; we had our nicknames on the back too! Mine had "Virginian" on it... I get ragged on all the time when I visit the family in San Jose :confused3 hahaha

Nooooo Way, I would feel like the Duggars (although I quite like watching their shows).

I couldn't imagine it, maybe it isn't really an Aussie thing, I don't know.

i was thinking about bringing all tie dye for my kids. just so i can spot them more easily. that's what i make them wear when we are at the airport usually.

dp and i can never match. i just can't do matching stuff with him! it would be odd.

The girls in our family would love it. DH? Ummm, nope, not ever gonna happen!
