Does your Combi Stroller recline very well?

I just received a Combi Cosmo DX stroller I ordered off ebay, just to find that it is broken!! The part that you squeeze in to adjust how much it reclines is broke. Therefore, you have to tie it in a knot so it doesn't slip down. I was just wondering if anybody else had this problem with their Combi, and if so what did you do to fix it? Can you order a replacement part from Combi?

My husband said it's my fault for ordering expensive stuff off of Ebay! This is the first time I have ever had bad luck w/ anything off of Ebay. I'm pretty upset. I hate to pay $75 for a stroller and then realize I have to rig it like it is a used one I had given to me!!

Anyways, I was just wondering if anybody else has had this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

I'd be so mad if I was you.

I would assume you've already contacted the seller, but if not, do that immediately and if you paid through paypal, please start a dispute (claim) against the seller.

You can drop the claim at anytime, but I would suggest you start a claim and notify the seller of your problem. You only have a certain amount of time to file a claim.

If paypal contacts the seller stating your problem, you could get option to return the stroller and get your money back. The seller obviously sold it to you as brand new (that's what I get from your post), there should not have been any problem with the stroller. And if there was a problem with the recline, it should have been in the description.

ITA w/ the PP! Contact the seller and let them know the problem! Hopefully, you can work out some sort of return.
I have a Combi that I absolutely love, and have had no problems with reclining it...and mine is almost 3 years old.

If you're able to return it, you might look to amazon for the replacement purchase...they have new DXs right now for 80 (and some have free shipping) up to 120 (that's just one of them, though)...
