fight sleep? My DD is 6mos and all morning she has been fussy (she just got over pnemonia so this might be part of the problem?) and nothing has made her happy. I tried everything to please her, but finally just put her in the crib and you know what....she fell right asleep! Peace at last! ;)

When DD#2 was about 9 months old, she refused to sleep, too. DD#1 was about 21 months old at the time. DH was working on the addition to our house. He had to stop working at nap time and walk DD#2 around the block in the stroller to get her to sleep. It was a nightmare. I'm glad those days are over (but enjoy them while you can, theyare only young once). Good luck to you.

Yup! Brittany sure did, big time!

Wish I could tell you it got better. Now, at 5, she still fights sleep! She's just to afraid she's going to miss something!;)

At 39, I still fight sleep. I don't like to miss anything either. My oldest (age 9) is the same way but thankfully the youngest has always been a good sleeper.

My oldest son was like that..boy was I sleep deprived when he was an infant!! My youngest is almost 3 months old and sleeps like a dream!:D :D :D

Nico was like that age 3 now. Anytime you put him down he would scream as loud as he could. He gave up naps at 6months and he NEVER slept through the night until he was 3. I mean going to bed at midnight, waking up at 4 ready to play for the day. Eventually, I went to the Doctor and after 3 months they conculded that he was just a child that didnt need lots of sleep.

The problem was..I did!!!

Nico still doesnt liek going to bed, but now that his little sister is in his room too (only becuase it helps him) he sleeps through the night. But believe me...I was tired for 3 years until we were able to put them together!!!

Good Luck to you. I remember those exhausting times.
