Hey, all - I'm sure I could just experiment with this, but figured I'd ask the experts first...
Thanks to (S)Tinkerbean,
I've got the 2.5" Xyron and love it for sticking down my skinny little Cricut-ed cut-out letters. I've pretty much just been using the permanent one so far, but have replacement cartridges in both permanent and repositionable. I've been very lucky in placement (so far!), but I'm wondering if I use the repo one, does the bond *eventually* turn permanent? If so, does the bond eventually seem as strong as the permanent? If not, does it just lose it's strength and the glued items eventually fall apart over days, weeks, months, or years? Or...?
Thanks for any expertise/experiences you can offer! I appreciate it...
Well - it seems the repo one does NOT permanently bond. I finally got around to experimenting with this. The letters I glued with it are VERY easily unstuck from the page layout days later. The really good thing about this is that it leaves absolutely NO residue! But, if you're looking for something to *stay* stuck, don't choose this one - go with the permanent.
