I told you how I wrote to my friend/rival from grade school and high school and that he sent me a very nice email back. In it, he talked about my news, said he couldn't wait to meet my kids, and wanted to know about my boyfriend. However, I had congratulated him on his marriage in the first email and he didn't mention his wife once. He did mention that he'd like to have a reunion for the class if possible. In my email back to him, I told him about Roger (in pretty long detail-who would have thought that, right
) and told him I was looking forward to meeting his wife and seeing him. I also asked to know about his wife and said that I'd love to help him organize a reunion. Well, he just wrote me another email last night and talks about organizing the reunion but doesn't say one thing about his wife. In fact, he says "I'm not in Richmond too awfully much" not "we're not". Would anyone else read something between these lines or am I most likely reading something that's not there? (It wasn't any of his family members that told me about his marriage.....it was our former youth minister.)
