Does wishes go away during Christmas party nights?

We'll be at WDW Dec 7-11 and have tix to the Christmas party on the night of the 8th. What becomes of the Wishes fireworks? And what about the Electrical Water Parade? Do they not happen on those party nights and instead have a Christmas theme?

There is a special Holiday Wishes on MVMCP nights. On regular nights, the regular Wishes show is displayed.

I'm not sure it is Wishes. From what I understand they have been showing a revised holiday verson of Fantasy in the Sky.

Last year it was "Holiday Wishes". A more spectacular version of the original.

The new fireworks started last year are NOTHING like regular Wishes (or Fantasy in the Sky). They are set to Christmas music.

It is alot better than the regular wishes, which are in there own right pretty spectacular, It's just simply amazing with the X-mas music and it's just somthing that you need to experince. Also if you get the chance you need to check out the special christmas illuminations at EPCOT. Also truly amazing. either way you will love them.

I'm curious to see if they will change the posted hours, or if they are changing the 'transition' into MVMCP this year. Right now they have party nights in Nov posted to close at 7 PM, instead of the usual 6 PM to clear the park, with regular Wishes scheduled those nights at 6 PM. Christmas Wishes is done later in the evening on party nights - I can't imagine how they could show Wishes at 6 PM, close the parks at 7 and start the party at 7, too - I'm waiting to see what happens ! Christmas Wishes was beautiful !!! they had one set of fireworks effects that turned the castle into a Xmas tree !!!
