If so which ones and how much are they?. I'd like to get one and im willing to pay a bit more to get it there but I would like a Belgium one if I could find one . Any one know thanks

I *think* they might sell one in the home goods departments of the World Of Disney.

I saw one at a local store (Shopko) for the first time in a long time. The waffles are not Belgian with waffle divots, but more of a whole Mickey.

Wal-Mart also sells the Mickey Belgian waffle maker. Target and Kohls also have Mickey waffle makers.

They do? I have never seen a Mickey Belgian Waffle maker.

I just checked their website and didn't find one. I did a global search for Mickey Belgian waffle maker and still didn't find one.

OP If you are trying to recreate 100% Mickey Waffles I don't think its possible at home. I'm pretty sure the ones at WDW are 220 commercial models. Its how fast they heat up and then how fast they recover. That's what gives you that crunchy almost deep fried texture.

There are a lot of Mickey shaped waffle makers but not a Belgian Waffle flip style maker.

Quite a few people buy the regular ones and are disappointed when just because they are shaped like the head of a mouse that they will taste exactly like they are in Chef Mickey's.

I have a Belgian waffle maker and the mix that supposedly is the exact same mix that Disney buys and its just not the same.

You need 220, 221 you know whatever it takes. :)

Oh, you meant a Mickey waffle maker made in Belgium... well, why didn't you say so?

To me, a Belgian waffle is one that has the square indentations, crispy texture, and fluffy insides that are just perfect for holding fruit compotes, butter, whipped cream and flavored syrups...

Which you can only get with a maker that makes a thick waffle and the only way to get that is one that flips over to get that fluffy inside.

We have Breakfast for dinner maybe twice a month, Waffles and Bacon.

And of Course if you ask for a Belgium Waffle in Belgium they have no idea what you are talking about.

That is the type I'm looking for. I saw the one that the picture is posted of at shopko the other day. Its $49 now but the black Friday sale has them for $15 along with toasters. I was just wondering in case I cant get any if they have them at DW or if I need to order two before I leave for Disney to get it before Christmas. I don't remember what they tasted like at chef mickeys so that's not an issue. My teenagers would probably rather have the one picture as they look more like pancakes, but I think the smaller ones are so cute.

Any question goes on this board :lmao:

I would go to your local store and buy one to take with me?

I ordered the same one from BonTon today for $20, list price of $24.99 plus a coupon! Now I'll have to go order that waffle mix...

I have spent the last hour looking for coupons and I can only find one that will take off $2.50. I even tried to buy $100 worth to get the $50 off but it wouldn't work either. Thanks

As the conversation has moved on, this can be continued on the Community board :thumbsup2

While the one posted can make a Mickey Shaped Breakfast bread, its not a Belgian waffle, not even sure you could call it a waffle. Maybe an embossed pancake. :)

Also its the same one as posted above by robinb. Its the exact same waffle.

My post was mostly because I have read many posts here from people wanting to recreate Real Mickey Waffles (like me). They buy a waffle maker that makes mickey shaped waffles and either find a recipe online using malted barley flour or buy a mix. They get everything together and while they taste ok they are not the real thing because the right waffle iron is more than half the reason they taste the way they do. Like the difference between a baked french fry and a deep fried one.

Glad you found what you wanted. I guess they are for Xmas presents.
