I'm a DL/DCA veteran, and every year they usually run a couple of specials on tickets there. One is "Everyone Plays at Kids Prices" and the other is "Child Gets in Free with Paid Adult".

Does WDW ever have special discounts on tickets? :confused3

On occasion they may run a special for Florida Residents only. Last year they sent out letters to Florida SP and AP holders (but not PAP) for a free admission to one of the water parks.

You can get discounted prices (though it's not a whole lot) from ticket brokers. We have used www.ticketmania.com and are very happy with their service. Dreams Unlimited has another ticket broker that they use and I'm sure they are fine. If you subscribe to the Mousesavers.com newsletter, you can get an additional discount on ticketmania tickets and they advertise another ticket broker.

We found the best deal to be buying the 10 day unexpired ticket. The only problem is you end up spending a lot more money upfront. The nice thing is we are using the reminder of our 10 day hoppers this month that we purchased in March 2005. It makes this trip much cheaper, but it made our last trip more expensive.

About six years ago they had a limited time deal that if you buy one ticket you got the next one at half price.
I haven't seen that offer since though.

:confused3

Hmmmmmm, I wonder why they don't ever offer specials on their tickets?

Maybe because they offer specials on the DDP instead to draw in the people during their slower times? :confused3

Because Walt Disney World is a resort destination, they don't have to offer ticket specials to get people to come. They have to offer room discounts to fill their hotels, but people come to the parks regardless.

Ahhh, this makes sense. :sunny:
