Does VGC have a member mixer meet thing?

We often get invited to member mixer events while at WDW. I was just wondering if there is something similar at VGC and if it is only open to VGC owners or any DVC owners. Never been to one, so not sure how it works.

When we stayed there in February on points, there was a member mixer on Sunday night. However we were just staying that one night, and the time overlapped our dinner reservation. We're going back over Memorial Day weekend, and I'll be curious to see if they have it every Sunday night.

Anyone that has been recently, know for sure if they have this and what all happens at the event?

I've never seen one the four times I have stayed. But they do call and leave a message on your phone inviting you to something, but it's not like a party. I always think it is just a ploy to try and sell you more points, so I never call back. Actually after reading my post, I really am of no help. Sorry. I guess I should just say I have never been to one and leave it at that.

Just to add some validity to what Linda said.... They usually call and leave you a message inviting you to something one of the days you're there. I also look at it as strictly a sales pitch and never call back either. I just don't want to spend my vacation hearing about things I am already very familiar with.
