??Does Universal or IOA have parades/fireworks??

Where can we find out about special things during our stay in November such as Parades or fireworks? Do they even have them? I was hoping to see the Grinchmas celebration--looks like we'll be too early (Nov. 17-19th).

IOA only seem to have fireworks during the summer and maybe during some holidays. I'm not sure what's going on at USF since they discontinued the Dynamite Nights Stunt Spectacular.

I don't believe I've ever seen a parade at either IOA or USF (except of course during Mardi Gras and Halloween Horror Nights). I think that's a good thing though as parades tend to severely disrupt the flow of people thru a park.

Unfortunately it does look like you'll miss Grinchmas which is our new favorite holiday event. We pretty much gave up going to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in favor of Grinchmas...we still do Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party every year though!

The only parades at USF are Mardi Gras parade (occurs in February or March) and the Festival of the Dead parade during Halloween Horror Nights.

What is Grinchmas celebration? Will it be going on Dec 28 - Jan 1? I know Disney inside and out. Have only been to Universal twice. Any advice will be welcome.

Wait don't some of the superheros come out on Marvel island in a parade like fashion? Not sure if you woiuld call it a parade but it does cause a big stir.

Yeah, there's a character "Meet n Greet" that begins with a short "parade" in Marvel-ous sci-fi vehicles. Then the characters gather in the plaza outside Capt America's Diner and sign autographs and pose for pictures.

Does this Super Hero Meet & Greet occur at specific posted times? My kids would love to see this semi-parade too.

Grinchmas will be on until Dec. 31. There is also a Macey's Holiday Parade new this year Dec. 13 to Jan. 5.

-there will be no parade for HHN this year. IOA's too small for it.
-the macy's parade will be at USF, as cdnmom stated.
-grinchmas usually starts on/after thanksgiving and runs till about jan 1/2.
-the super heroes always come out at specific times. it sometimes varies, so check the insert you get with your map.

actually, word here in the parks is that Grinchmas will be starting a week earlier this year, sometime during the week before Thanksgiving... so you might luck out!

The Marvel motorcade *usually* runs on the hour, with a gap at lunchtime. Start and end times depend on the park hours.
