We are going to Universal in June for the first time. I was wondering if they have any fireworks at night that we could see from Hotel (Royal Pacific) or CityWalk?
Well...I'm not sure what is going to happen this summer. The last thing I heard was no fireworks because of the construction on HP World but that was a while ago...I'm just not sure if there will be fireworks this summer or not.We are going to Universal in June for the first time. I was wondering if they have any fireworks at night that we could see from Hotel (Royal Pacific) or CityWalk?
The embers could start a fire. Universal shoots their fireworks off lower in the sky than Disney so there's more of a risk and if it's dry weather, that's even more of a chance of something bad happening. The area where they are building Harry Potter, is that where they usually set off the fireworks or something? Just wondering why new construction would affect fireworks.
I would guess it has to do with cut backs from the economy...that's only a guess though.PHANTOM, any idea why the parks are only open till 9pm in July.
Get to the 360 show early to get a good viewing spot and expect very large crowds. It was rough getting out of the park after the show and then the boats were not running to the resorts due to lightning in the area. We will be better prepared this year as we know what to expect.
They added the info about the 360 show, I think they just added it because I searched and searched for it a few weeks ago and never could find it!
