Does Uber do a round trip?

say if I wanted to make a quick shopping trip to grab a couple of supplies. Could I book an Uber to pick me up, wait 10 minutes or so while I grabbed what I needed and then take me back (obviously would pay for their time waiting) or would I need to book a separate one each way.

I'm in the UK and have never used them, so trying to get my head round what is possible for my trip in Feb

Thanks

Depends on the driver, but most of them would have no problem waiting (while the 'meter' is running of course). Honestly, around Orlando you're better off just taking a one way trip both ways. You'll save money and always plenty of drivers so you wont be waiting a long time anyway

Great thanks :)

If you let your driver know you'll be scheduling a trip back within 10 or 15 minutes they may stick close by so that when you book the return trip they would be ready.

Generally, yes. Most will wait a short time. (I am an Uber driver myself)

Be sure to give your driver a cash tip for waiting. There is no tipping option in the app for a tip. Now Lyft (Basically same as Uber) does have a tipping option in their app.

After scheduling your driver simply give them a call or text and let them know your intentions. Most are very accommodating.

I do have some coupon codes good for free rides for first time Uber/Lyft passengers. Feel free to send me a private message here if you (or anyone) would like one. They generally expire in in about 2 weeks from entering them in your app.

Good idea. Thanks

Would absolutely tip for waiting. I find the whole no tipping thing strange.

My trip isn't until Feb but I may pm you then and take you up on your offer if you have some available then :)
