Does this sound bonkers?

Because of flight times, it means we wouldn't land in Paris till about 8pm, by the time we get to the hotel, you're looking at 9.30pm - which got me to thinking......
What about booking somewhere like the Kyriad for the Sunday night, get to Paris and get a transfer to there. Sleep, up early and then straight to our Disney hotel on the free shuttle??

Does that sound mad? It just seems silly, paying for a day in the parks when we won't be able to use it. We can then have Mon-Friday in the parks as is the same price....

What do you all think? Am I mad????

Not mad at all! We're going a day early, arriving mid afternoon, having dinner in inventions, staying int he Kyriad overnight, and then 4 nights in the Santa Fe with 5 days in the park!

Thanks!! Feel a bit more reassured now to present this plan to my Mum!!

I know our rooms probably won't be ready when we get to the hotel, but if we get there early enough do you think we'd be able to use our EMH??

With no flights from Cardiff, we have to go from Bristol and the flight times are quite late!

We very nearly did this too, but we could only be away 4 nights in total, so if booked a separate night, plus a 3 night stay at DLP, it actually worked out more expensive, due to the way the discounts were working. If we didn't need to be home by the Friday, then we'd definitely have done this.

You can check into the hotel as early as you want - as you say your room may not be ready, but you'll get your park tickets and be able to enjoy EMH

We're driving! Haven't looked at any flights for any of our trips, so I didn't realise you couldn't fly via Cardiff! Mad!

we've stayed in Kyriad on our arrival day and moved to HNY the next morning and were in parks just pas 8am! Next year ee did the same thing.

We always fly easyjet from bristol and ive done this on our last 4 trips. Have done Kyriad, Rive Gauche Serris, Santa Fe and Cheyenne. If you can get a disney hotel through expedia or travel republic for instance and ring disney a week or so before your trip they will tie up the 2 bookings, so you wont have to move rooms

Have Flybe/Air France stopped flying from Cardiff then ?

Not mad at all we've done it a few times! Stayed at the kyriad and explorers the night before - the room on property is never ready but we always make EMH if anything I'd say it's not mad it's sensible!

We are doing exactly the same.
Driving from Preston, staying at the Kyriad for the first night and then at the Santa Fe for 4 nights/5 days.

We looked at an extra night at the Santa Fe, but the earliest we could possibly get there was 5pm-7pm and we figured that by the team we'd eaten, it wouldn't be worth the extra £250+ just to get an hour in the park to watch Dreams or something...

Only thing to worry about now is getting my gang up and in the car as early as I can to get to the Santa Fe and then to the parks for early magic hours on our first proper day at DLP

they start running just after 6am every morning, and run every 15-20 minutes from all the associated hotels to the parks terminus and back.
