Offer made and accepted on Monday. Anxiously awaiting contract. On Friday was told they're still waiting for Disney to confirm points. I thought that happened at the end of the process ? Seems like everyone else is getting their contracts within a few days of offer being accepted. I am working with one of the recommended brokers on this site. Should I be worried?

Your contract has to go to "Disney" for their "First Right of Refusal"...they will either buy your contract or pass it back to your broker...can take up to 30 days for this process. Relax...it is out of your hands now...cheers.

Ooops...I'm assuming this is a "resale market" contract and not through Disney.

There has to be signed contracts for it to go to Disney for ROFR, so the OP isn't at ROFR yet.

I've worked with Sharon at Fidelity and was told that the points report from Disney gets pulled before the contracts are drawn up AND before the closing docs are drawn up. So I don't think you should be too worried about that.

If you're working with one of the other brokers, I'd give them a call or shoot them an email to see what is going on. (Fidelity is closed on the weekend, so if you're working with them, you won't hear anything until Monday).

I worked with Fidelity and they pulled a points report prior to signing contracts also. In case the contract is not as listed. Good luck!

As an FYI, they pull a points report right before it closes, too. This is after it passes rofr, after you've paid, after you've signed docs, after the title check. They do one final check before they do the officially closing and changing of deed.
