Does this look good?

I *think* I've finally sorted out my reservations. What do you think of my choices? I haven't been to WDW in 20 years so I really have NO clue! I'm traveling with 2 kids, ages 3 and 4, and a DH who has never been to WDW. DH isn't THAT excited about the trip but likes good food (he's a bit of a food snob, but doesn't mind comfort food since he is midwest born and raised). DH and I both love seafood and spicy food. I tried to balance nice restaurants with places that will delight our girls.

Akershus dinner
Ohana dinner
Coral Reef lunch (my birthday)
The Wave dinner
Sanaa dinner
1900 Park Fare breakfast

I think this looks good. I haven't been to all your places, but I have been to Ohana (one of my favorites) and Coral Reef. Long time ago I had a bad meal at Coral Reef and shunned it for years - however I went again last October and really enjoyed it. I think the kids will like this one a lot.

I think that it looks good. It does look like a nice balance of character meals and adult places, which is the same thing that I do. For our last two trips, we had 6 TS meals, with 3 character meals and 3 adult places. For our next trip, our TS ADRs look similar to yours - 2 character meals and 4 adult places.

The only thing that I might tweak is swapping or adding a character meal with Mickey & co. That may or may not be a big one for your kids, but, when they are there, they might like to see the big guy.

I just noticed something else - are staying at AKL or AKV? Getting to and from some of the resorts can be tricky, and you often have to take to rides (whether bus or monorail). Of course, Ohana and Wave will be easy because of the monorail (you still might have to take two rides unless you are staying on the monorail), but getting to and from AKL, if you aren't staying there, can take a while. When we ate at Jiko, we did dinner there at the end of our day at AK (quick bus ride from AK to AKL). And to get back to our resort (ASMusic) after dinner (it was 7 pm or so, and we had small children), we took a cab, which was $10 (DH gave him $15). That was money well spent!

In general, the quickest way from resort to resort without a car is to go to the closest open park to either your resort or the destination resort and then go to your destination resort.

Clear as mud?

That's right. No Mickey...

Hmmm I have a reservation at 8:25 for Tusker house that I was planning to cancel. Would this be too much:

11/15 8:25 at Tusker House
See Animal Kingdom
5:35 at Sanaa

11/16 Cancel 1900 PF breakfast (DD loves Alice and Mary Poppins though). No ADRs that day. I tried to change this to Chef Mickey's but the latest I could find is 7:45 for breakfast. I am wary of dinner + I want to be able to make Spectro/Wishes that night...

oh NO! dont cancel 1900pf! its my fav!!!! YUMMMY strawberry soup and the bfast characters w/ mad hatter are awesome!

you could keep all your DDP TS's and then pay out of pocket for one additional TS w/ Mickey (like at Ohana, its only 18.99/adult) or Minnie, whom my girls prefer over mickey any day (like at Cape may cafe bfast, also 18.99/adult).

we ate at akershus dinner once..food was too "grown up" for us, so now we do bfast there each trip instead
