Does this happen?

I've been researching all I can before our first trip, and I've come across some info that brought about this question.
Do the parks actually open up to 30 minutes early EVEN with EE hours? or does this just happen only when the parks do not have EE hours? Ive been trying to plan this trip and something always pops up that just seems to want to throw things off. So now I have no idea what time to get to the parks!!
FYI we are staying on site one night to do the EE.

It CAN happen, but it's not every day. Though I would say get to the entrance at least 30 mins before opening to be closer to the front of the line.

Over the years, we've gotten in a few times 20-30 mins early. Several times 10-15 mins early; most times right on time though. A once or twice 5-10 mins past opening time, due to issues with not enough staff/taking the "opening" pictures, etc.

We are always first or second group in line

The one and only time I did EE at studios it opened 20 minutes early.
