I've purposely looked at a few members' profiles for various reasons.

I just looked at mine, finding the message "Hey" from someone who has never posted on these boards, Twist63.

I can't remove/delete the darned thing either.

I never looked at that until I read this post..

I have checked people's profiles, mostly to see their age or their sex if it's not evident in their posts or username. I sometimes wonder if it's a child or something... sometimes it is!

I just checked mine and I had 502.... I can only guess they're accidents or FANS!

If you click the back button and go to the main page where all the threads are listed, to the right you will see how many replies there were in a particular thread, then next to that, how many people clicked on the link to that thread. I think this one says 86 (or so) right now. Click on that, then a little tiny window pops up and you can scroll through all the names of the people who have posted on this thread, and how many times each person posted. Click on that.

It does not mean you are on the ignore list.... only that you annoyed them

It could also mean they found you very interesting Now I have to click on your list.

I think that if I truly annoyed anyone I would be so upset. I have that Mary Richards complex: everyone must like me, I've got spunk!

I'm definitely guilty of clicking on profiles by accident. My mouse on my laptop is jumpy, and sometimes it hits the profile instead of opening the thread.

I just noticed this friends thing the other day and I did prowl around a little to try to see what it's all about. I also click on the wrong thing by accident sometimes when I might want to PM someone. I'm a klutz.

Friends...I'm friend-less. Is there a point to having declared "friends" on the list? I had one invite from a newbie once and didn't accept it.

85 people have visited me as well. Interesting. I do it by mistake all the time.

I thought the friends list would help keep track of when your friends were online with you but I dont know for sure. I only have 1 friend listed.

I haven't read all of the other posts in this thread but just wanted to comment that, if you so desire, you may leave yourself visitor messages. On another forum I'm on, you can befriend yourself but, sadly, you cannot ignore yourself.

I'm an unruly clicker too - LOL.. My mouse ends up all over the place.. If I accidentally ended up on your profile, I promise I'm not a lurker - just not paying attention to where I'm clicking..
