does the magic disappear?

i guess it is a you either get it or you don't situation, but then again my father doesn't exactly love WDW, he gets uncomfortable around large crowds and doesn't like hot weather, but he loves seeing the joy it brings to my family. my mother is a crazed WDW fan, she'll work extra hours at work to ensure she gets to go to the annual conference her hospital has in Orlando so she can stop by the parks. there's something so special about Disney. and i think even if you don't "get it" you can recognize it in the people you love and understand and appreciate the joy it puts in their hearts.

i find that if you go with someone who doesn't get it, show them little things like at Muppets 3-D where the sign at the entrance says, "Back in 5 minutes, key under the mat," and sure enough the key is there. those are the kind of things that have kept me coming back and will continue to for years to come.

This is so funny, we were just talking about this, my best friend and I. She went every year of our childhood and my mom always said we couldn't afford it. I used to act like Disney was soo stupid and I didn't understand why she would want to go back. Fast forward to now, and I was telling her that we need to repay our debt and get in financial shape but that my DH would not cut out Disney to do it (he is willing to do other things, just not the trip)...

She laughed at how I said it was stupid and I told her that I must have been jealous!

Now we both have the magic, and her parents, who had taken her every year since her birth (1973) are going again next week without the kids or grandkids! Her dad is in his 70's and mom is in her 60's/

In answer to the OP, there was a woman that (unfortunately) fell outside of "Its tough to be a Bug" and when I offered to call 911 her grandaughter told us to tell them that she was 85 years old!
