After 2 nights in a row of running out of propane, I am definitely checking out THAT situation everywhere we go! We can fill it before we get there, but the way things are going, we will have to refill it more than once during our 2 weeks!

Yes they do and the prices, I have been told, are not too bad. Ask them at checkin and they'll get ya taken care of.

If you have removable bottles, you can refill at disney. If you are a ClassA or Class C, they do not offer filling and you have to go off campus to refil.

What you do is take the bottle or bottles to the Meadows Trading post in the center of the fort in the morning. Maintinece then picks up the bottles and they are filled in some maintinence area. The bottles are usually back in the early afternoon. Cost if I recall for a 30# tank was between 30-40 bucks.

Our tank is not removable, but it's small. A real pain to have to unhook everything else and drive somewhere every couple days. We'd better hope to heaven the weather there is better than what we are experiencing on our way then- we are in Indianna and there is still snow everywhere for goodness sakes!

We've had a few cool nights (40ish) recently, but usually you can get by with a small electric space heater or two, depending on the size of your RV. That would be cheaper than a refill of propane and less hassle.

My suggestion is top it off at camping world on your way in. Stop at walmart and pick up a 1500 watt forced air heater. Use the heater to cut down on propane usage. If you are really having issues with running out, you can install a "extend a stay" fitting. It allows you to hook up portable tanks and then you can use 20 or 30lb tanks while there and not have to pull out and refill.

Do you know how many gallons they pump to fill the tank? Because even my 5th wheel with two 30# tanks (14 gallons) will heat and provide for cooking for a long time without running out.

I suggest that you fill your tanks just before you leave the Fort, thats what we do. Prices are great !
Take your tanks to the Meadows Store (thats the refill) you have to take them in the day before you want them back.

The last time I had to fill one in FL was at camping world and it ended up being cheaper if I had just taken it to the meadows and had it done. Spend the $20 and get a small space heater before your trip, we use almost no propane for heat while we are in FL.
