We visited 2 years ago and missed the fantasmic show, I have read that you can get desert and how packages, is this true? Also we missed out on its a small world last time (we were there for Halloween) I know that they redecorate it for christmas, does anyone have any idea when it re opens again with the Christmas decorations on it? My DD would be shattered if we couldn't get on it again! She watches a podcast of the ride a few times each day!! Also, any recommendations on the best way to see the WOC, we waited for a few hours last time, and had a friend do the picnic, which she wasn't impressed with at all. I have read somewhere about the Carthay circle offering some kind of premium seating package, is this info correct?? Thanks!!!

F! should be running during the fall season.

These two Superthreads will tell you everything about the shows and you can find your answer on the OP.

IASW will be closed around October 22nd of this year for the Holiday overlay. It will reopen when the Holiday season starts at the DLR on Nov. 12th. I would say that it might open a few days before the Holiday season officially starts and it could be open on November 9th.

Usually F! is presented on Weekends during the off season. So if you plan on being there Fri, Sat, or Sun, you should be able to see it. But get there early if you want to see the early show, we often wait 1-2 hours to get a good view. Or you can book a desert package (I don't know the price) that reserves premium seating for the show.

As to the WoC dining package, we did this 2 years ago, and I think it's the best way to see the show. I looks like the options have changed with the reopening of DCA. Now you have 3 choices (other than the picnics). Lunch at Wine Country ($29.99 adult, $18.99 children), Dinner at Wine Country ($39.99/$20.99), and lunch or dinner at Carthay Circle (normal price).

I did the lunch at the Wine Country and I saw the show from the reserved seating, I really loved it!
However, I went there quite early to take my place and ended on the stair connecting the wet area with the middle area (nice since I could sit of the stairs while waiting). The reserved area got quite crowded later on, so even if you have the passes for the reserved area, to get a really good spot you should go there early.

I read that the Carthay Circle reserved area is much better and does not get crowded at all, so you can go there just a few minutes before the start of the show (but it's also more expensive).

with the exception of Oct., Friday nights are Halloween Party nights throughout the whole month so they wont show on Fridays at all...however, they often play it on thursday nights during the mo:goodvibes

Carthay circle sounds great for WOC. The fantasmic desert package is quite expensive! Is the viewing area worth that kind of money or a family of 5? We are planning on arriving on the 30th oct, and doing the Halloween party on the 31st, as we don't have Halloween celebrations in Australia, so it's pretty exciting for us! We want to see its a small world, so looks like we may have to stay until the 13th of November. Does anyone have any info on when it re opens for the holiday season?

When my kids were younger and finances were tighter it was not worth it to me. Now it is. It really depends. The nice thing about it is that you can see the first show without a long wait and get a great view and have a chair to sit it. But there are lots of other things you can spend money on at DLR and it really depends what is important to you and your discretionary budget.
