Does the DVC site EVER work?

In the meantime, try the online check-in direct link: www.mydisneyreservation.com/dvc

I used to be able to go there and see the 4 entry lines (reservation number, Last name of Primary Guest, Resort, Check-in date). However, now that link is taking me to a new page. https://secure.reservations.disney....al_Landing_Page&process=false&pageRender=true

Disney's Online Check-In is the fastest, most effective way to begin your stay at a Walt Disney World® Resort hotel or at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa.

How Disney's Online Check-In Works:

1. Start the Check-In Process Online: Provide check-in information online within 10 days of your arrival date. 2. Submit Your Information: The Resort hotel team receives your information, to simplify your arrival. 3. Pick Up Your Welcome Folder: To complete check-in, show your photo ID at the hotel's Online Check-In Service location and receive your Key to the World card.

Begin Disney's Online Check-In Now

To start, please select the Resort at which you'll be staying.

...

Now, please tell us how you booked your stay:

* Using a Disney Vacation Club membership

For any other booking methods, please contact your booking agent directly.

And clicking on that "Using a DVC membership" link takes me a booking site.

One time last week it worked again, but today again I cannot reach the normal page. I have tried Firefox and IE, and both are not working.

I just tried it and it works for me. It redirects to a slightly different URL than the one you just posted, but I tried yours and it works for me as well. I am using IE8. In both cases, the page I get is the same one as always where you can enter the confirmation number, last name, select the resort, etc.

My URL is the same as yours except it is missing "name=Guest_DVC_PreArrival_Landing_Page". Try this one and see if it works for you:

Thanks for your response. However, that link takes me to a page that says,

Book Your Vacation

Walt Disney World® Resort reservations may be booked online for check-in dates up to and including December 31, 2012.

and then there's a continue button, which takes me back to the same page over and over again.

Also, I have AdBlock Plus disabled on all these sites. I am not logged into ESPN.com or ABC.com or anything.

My browser recently has also had a problem. When I click Quote on somebody's post, it shows the text of the quote for a split second before it disappears from the window. This happens some times, not all the time. That behavior happens on several different message boards. Weird.

The only time I've ever had a problem has been when I was logged into another Disney site. From previous posts this includes sites that also include the Disney/ABC/ESPN family. When I've had the problem I just go to these other sites that I visit and log out or if it appears I am logged out, I log in and then log out again. After doing this when I return to the DVC Member site, I don't have a problem. Now I just make sure I log out of all Disney sites after I use them and I don't have issues logging into the DVC Member site.

Same problem - make sure you log out of ABC before going into DVC . . .

If the problem is related to being logged on at another Disney site, MS can get you to the IT folks who can give you instructions for a secret website that will reset your access and clear the problem.

Other problems can be caused by different browsers, cookies, and your web cache.

I did a reset a few years ago and haven't had a problem since. I use Internet Explorer and access the member website at least every other day.
