I got an email a while back with Disneystore promoting their shipping to Canada. Well I want to order some stuff and it says USA only :(

Anyone know if I can shop on the site or not?

Is there a link to the Canadian one?:confused3

It most certainly does as my DH can attest.:lmao:

When you are choosing you shipping, you must choose "international". It will ship UPS and then you will have to pay a brokerage fee for importing to Canada. Happy shopping!

Some items cannot be shipped here.

I can say though that they do ship most of their products. However it is extremelly costly!! For example: I just placed an order for a King duvet cover, 2 sets of sheets, 2 extra sets of pillow cases, and a bath mat. I ordered when there was a 30% off sale. My bill was around $400, the shipping and handling included in that amount was almost $100. When the order arrived I had to pay another $96 in Brokerage fees.

We tend to only order from there when it is something we really want and can't get at the Disney Store here, something similar, or can't get when we go to Disney itself.

They are VERY quick with the orders and have EXCELLENT customer service. I think I recieved the wrong size duvet since it doesn't hang over the sides of the bed at all. I emailed them and they are mailing me another one. People may complain about the price of Disney things, but I believe you get what you pay for and hopefully I don't often need their great customer service, but I am certainly willing to pay a bit more knowing they will go the extra mile when needed. That is one of the many reasons we LOVE Disney.

I bought a "must have" item on my son's Christmas list last Dec. for $4.99. I thought I was totally scoring to be able to check that off the list for the low price of $4.99! - so much so that I bought 2. With the exchange that came to about $13 CDN? I was so excited that I just hit "submit" without checking the total! My Visa total came out to $36.99 CDN in the end! Sadly, that item was just for my son's stocking. (Sigh) I learned a good lesson about American site shopping that Christmas...:lmao:

The fees for duty/brokerage are way more than I'm willing to pay, so I always order neat stuff the week before we go to WDW and have it delivered to our resort - no duty and usually $5 or free shipping. Plus then there are cheap surprises awaiting everyone (last year I got $5 bath towels, slippers and matching t-shirts, plus a cheap Eeyore journal to write my trip report down while there!). Happy shopping!

I agree, the UPS brokerage fees are insane!! Sometimes more than what the item costs.
