Does the DDE include ALL Alcoholic Beverages?

I see where the DDE includes beverages... but does that include Beers, Wines (both by the glass and bottle) and spirits/mixed drinks? Does it include drinks not associated with a meal? (IE Can I go to the Victoria Falls Lounge at AKL and just order a beer and get my DDE 20% discount (of course upon showing my AP and DDE card)). Or does it have to be associated with a meal? Any help would be appreciated!

Not sure what the exact rules are (I'm sure someone does), but I've always gotten my discount when I order drinks with dinner, but not at the lounges. Victoria Falls wouldn't give me the discount, but wine at Jiko did receive the discount.

We have only used our discounts on wine during dinner. It has always been covered at all the "official" restaurants.

I have used my card for discounts on just drinks at the lounges. Used it at the Tambu Lounge, Mizners and the lounge in the Yacht Club. No food, just drinks. Oh and those are the only places I have tried to use it. I have never been turned down anywhere.

The list I received last month with my renewal card does show the lounges at all the Deluxe Resorts. It is also valid for all food and beverages when used. This includes wine pairings at V&A and France.
