Does the CBR have elevators?

I seem to remember somewhere that it doesn't?? Can anyone answer this?

None of the buildings at CBR have elevators. They are all just two stories tall so that helps a bit. But be sure and request a first floor room if you are concerned about stairs.

No elevators, we were on 2nd floor and didn't have any problem with luggage, the stairs are quite shallow. But if you need a 1st floor room, you can call reservations and put request on your reservation, be sure to add reason why you need a 1st floor room, if it's for mobility problems to increase your chances.

As the other posters have said, there are no elevators but the steps up to the second floor aren't steep and are easy to walk up. I posted pictures of the stairwells on the CBR picture forum just for those who asked about the stairs.

1) Well, yes. *
2) However, they are technically "lifts".
3) These are for freight purposes only; not passenger rated.
4) Used by service & maint purposes (eg. luggage, maint equip).

* Our neighbor is a bellman at CBR and uses the lifts to move big
bags upstairs. He is over 60, and this has really saved his back.

CSR is much newer and yes it has elevators - so does the POR (mansion side) and POFQ.

Most of the buildings at Old Key West do not have elevators.
