Just curious if anyone ever got a decent AP discount for BC or YC. I'm booked at the Dolphin, but for a great discount I'd buy an AP just to try these resorts!pluto:

Yes we stayed at the Yacht Club using an AP discount in September 2007 however you never know which resorts will have availability when they announce new discounts.

For this fall the AP rate for a standard room at the Beach Club is $239/night. Last spring it was $259/night. (fall is value season; spring is regular) HTH.

We are AP holders and have always stayed at BC with an AP discount. We normally pay in the low 200's per night there. This was during value season and once during regular season (October). We've never stayed there during peak season.

Thanks you guys.
I'd love to stay at BC or YC someday, but hard to justify the extra $$$ when I have been getting good rates at the Dolphin (Teacher's rate).
Maybe next trip...

Last August, it was $250ish for a standard view. I had the trip already booked at the bounceback rate and that rate was slightly better (just by a few dollars/nt).

You will never get a rate even close to similar to the teacher's rate at the Swan/Dolphin. However, if you factor in the things you pay out of pocket for at the Dolphin ($10 daily resort fee, transportation to the resort or rental car, parking if you rent a car, no dining assuming you use the dining plan, etc) it might come out cheaper to stay at the BC
