Does Target Price Match?

I have conflicting info on the web. Do any of you know if Target Price Matches? I have quite a bit on Target gift cards from purchases and I would like to use them towards a DS for Xmas. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

I believe they do as I was just behind a couple trying to price match these little cozy coupes that Meijer had on sale( at least that was the ad they were swatting around)they were not going to honor the price match because the colors in the ad were different then the color of cozy coupe they were buying. This all took about 15 minutes of arguing at the cutomer service area while I was in line behind them trying to just pay my bill after I finished my shopping. I would just make sure the one in ad is the same one you are trying to buy at Target and get the price match.

Last time I asked at mine, they acted like I was a criminal trying to rob them!

Target just recently started to price match, since August or so. To match the price, you must bring in the ENTIRE sales flyer, not just the picture, as all of the details are needed. They will not match special purchases, free gift cards, etc. You should see signage all of the store to indicate this. And yes, I do work at a Target.

I don't think that this will help you though as a DS doesn't go on sale - only special offers to get games or accessories free (and that won't get matched)

Our Target just posted a sign a few weeks ago that they are now price matching. Haven't tried it myself yet but it's nice to know the option is there.

I did it last week. As stated in earlier post: bring the entire printed ad. No internet pages. Just take the items to Customer Service. My store was very nice about it.

I price match LIV dolls: Target $19.99....TRU & Kmart $14.99. I bought 2 diffferent dolls. Got the third on price match at Walmart on the same day.

As long as the item is not part of a (for example) 4 hour special, it should be price matched.

I was told my a 'high up' Target employee that they ARE price matching 'local competitor's' and only with the ad in hand (current ad) and YES, Black Friday was included.

THANKS for the info. I do a lot of price matching at walmart on black friday.

Also I went to the link and it does not say anything about them not honoring % off. That is good because walmart does not do % off.
