I know some seleect locations in DTD accept Disney gift cards as payment, but not sure if Splitsville is part of this list. Thanks.

Don't see how they could. The locations in downtown Disney that accept Disney gift cards are Disney-owned; that's why they can accept a Disney specific form of payment. Splitsville is not owned by Disney.

Well, I don't know about at DLR, but at Disney Springs in Orlando many of the non-Disney venues do take the gift cards. I'm not sure if all of them do, but I know for a fact that Earl of Sandwich does. You can also charge to your room via a Magic Band. I think it's part of the deal for being on property.

Interesting. I haven't heard of any of the non-Disney places at Disneyland's downtown Disney that take Disney gift cards. Some of them used to take Disney dollars back when they still made those.

You can't even use Disney gift cards in the Ghirardelli shop inside Disney California Adventure although you can use Ghirardelli gift cards of course.

I think we've used it at the confectionary, Marcelene's? So I just thought I would ask. We rarely shop at DTD so I'm just curious.

Marceline's Confectionery is owned by Disney, so they do accept Disney gift cards. So do/should WOD, the Disney Home Store, WonderGround Gallery, the Disney Dress Shop, the Dream Boutique, and Pin Traders. As stated above, the non-Disney owned restaurants and businesses in DTD do not accept Disney gift cards.
ETA: Just to update: It appears that the Dream Boutique might be gone (as of 3/24) -- the store windows are papered over with signs for the Disney Dress Shop -- so it seems the Dress Shop will be moving soon to that spot so that the restaurants can move in to their old spot.
