In our house Santa gifts are left in the open and set up ready to go.

Presents from mom and dad are wrapped and under the tree.

In our house, Santa brings one unwrapped gift per child and overstuffed stockings with unwrapped stuffers. All the other gifts are wrapped. The big guy leaves his gifts hidden somewhere downstairs and places the stockings by each child's door. They know not to go downstairs to find the big Santa gift, but they can bring their stocking into our room and we all sit on the bed together opening stockings. It's always so much fun. :goodvibes

I'm another one who learned about Santa because I found Santa's special roll of wrapping paper. That's why Santa decided this generation of the family wouldn't have Santa presents wrapped. Plenty of other things to unwrap though! :teeth:

Growing up Santa always wrapped our presents. When DH and I had our first Christmas with DS #1 I learned that Santa didn't always wrap the presents. I had never heard of such a thing.

Santa's present is wrapped and always at the back of the tree. It is the last gift opened by the kids. That is the way that we did it when I was a kid. I thought about changing it but was afraid since it is always the "big" gift that they would not be as excited about the others if they received it first.

All our gifts are wrapped. Santas in different paper than the rest. Santa brings EVERYTHING except one or two gifts that are from me. I like that it takes hours to get through opening all our gifts, to have them all sitting there would take the fun out of it for me. I love that she thinks santa brings this big stack of gifts for her but it is also hard because everyone has their own traditions and when she hears about kids getting one two or three gifts she askes why Santa didn't like that kid. She asks why he doesn't like poor kids since we help out at a toy drive collecting toys for them and her friend one year got only 3 things from Santa and my daughter said to the kid "you must have been pretty bad this year to only get three things". The poor kid cried thinking she had been bad and then asked her mom why Santa only left her 3 things!

Santa always wrapped the gifts with different paper. On Christmas morning only presents from Santa are under the tree, we open from mom, dad, brothers, sisters and any relative not coming for dinner on Christmas Eve.

Now that my kids are mostly grown and living other places and only one DD13 at home the pile under the tree is much smaller.

Same here :)

All the Santa gifts are wrapped with special Santa paper. Unless the gifts are too big like a bike. Then it's just parked right next to the tree.

I voted other - we do half and half.

Usually Santa will leave the main gift unwrapped and then an accessories will be wrapped.

We do it this way because my DH came from a house where Santa left gifts unwrapped, and I came from a family that had Santa wrap all his gifts. So now we incorporate both ways :thumbsup2
