Does President's week book up at the 11

I don't really think it books up completely. I own at SSR and I didn't have a problem getting VWL at the 7 month window for Pres. Week this year. I didn't even have a backup ressie at SSR because it was a spur of the moment decision. This is going to be our first stay at VWL and I'm psyched!

It doesn't book up at 11 months or 7 months. It is still a busy time for the parks. DVC Resorts seldom book up. The exception to this is during F&W Fest. for BCV and BWV and many resorts around Christmas. Spring break in April can also be tough but certainly tons of availability at 7 months. It just might not end up being your first choice.

We booked a 1bdrm for Pres. week in mid Dec and got SSR with a waitlist for OKW (one of our home resorts). In our 20+ stays, we have never had a problem getting a reservation, if we are flexible on the short notice trips. We never go during Christmas-New Years week or at Spring Break. We do go right after Thanksgiving every year and we always book that in the 9-11 months window since this is a high DVC demand time. Remember that DVC high demand times, with the exception of the times mentioned above, are usually low point seasons. Flexability is critical to last min. reservations. Good Luck!

This year we switched from the BCV to the BWV at the 7 month mark so don't worry about finding availability. The parks are crowded but if you work fast pass right, make all of your ADR's in advance and get back to your hotel in the afternoon, they are manageable.

President's week, well at least the first couple of days will be pretty much full. Not at the 11 or 7 month window, but I wouldn't wait longer than the 3 month window. We were closed out of everything except a 2 bedroom at VWL last year at the 2 month mark. Since there were only 2 of us traveling, we didn't think a 2 bedroom was necessary!

I had checked availability the other day and it is booked. I know Friday and Saturday are available but not Sunday and Monday. You know those weekend points are way too high!! I think the 3 month window is the cut off for the tightness of that weekend.

I just got the beginning of the week at VWL from the waitlist and gave up SSR and BWV. (Was trying to make a full week somewhere.

So yes it books early IMHO b/c it's a holiday week but it seems to have a high cancellation rate (I've been doing this for 5 years now)
