Does posted wait-time for Forbidden Journey include castle "tour"?

When the wait-time for Forbidden Journey says 60 minutes, is a good portion of that time spent moving along in the castle seeing the various things there?

If so, can anyone estimate how much time this would typically be?

I'm thinking that a 60-minute wait with a variety of things to look at is tolerable, as opposed to a 60-minute wait just staring at the back of the heads of the people in front of us. ;)

Yes, the 60 minutes includes the time going through the castle. Often, though, a lot of time is spent in the greenhouse.

Great, thanks.

Can you estimate how much time the walk through the castle would typically take? 30 minutes?

And are there interesting things to see in the greenhouse?

It really is highly variable depending on whether or not the extended locker queue is being used, how quickly people are moving, etc. Sometimes if the locker line is being used you might spend a long time outside and then have to rush through the castle.

There are a few interesting things in the greenhouse queue- there's some potted mandrakes along one side of a wall, a giant vine, some neat hanging potted plants... it's just not even near as great as the inside of the castle!

If you want to really look at the queue I'd suggest going on a castle tour :)

The castle tour line is great if you want to take pics/video of the castle, as you are allowed to take bags/large cameras in that line. With that line, you can take as much time as you want observing, taking pics, etc.

The regular line has the potential to go faster, but many people are too busy taking pics with small cameras/phones before realizing they need to keep moving. :duck:

The greenhouse section is interesting but also very hot! Especially if you are crazy enough to go in August like us:goodvibes

You just answered my questions before I even asked it lol. I guess the other part to my question is do they at least have misting fans or would that turn out to be more like a sauna

Thanks, everyone, for the info.

Guess we won't let a long wait-time deter us! (We are going in mid-March during prime Spring Break time.)
