Does Port Orleans Riverside ......

I heard a rumor that Port Orleans Riverside was going to have refrigerators free of charge in all there rooms. Has anyone found this to be true? I am curious due to that fact I would love to have one to help with breakfast in my room. Yet last year at Pop Century I paid $80 for it and hardly used it, so I would like to not have to pay for it.

A family we know just returned from Riverside and they did have a fridge in the room for no charge.

Yep we just got back and free of charge now included in the rooms at POR are fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Makes a great place to stay just a bit nicer. My 7 yr old is an avid milk drinker so the fridge was fabulous for us!

I believe all the moderates and deluxes have a fridge in the room now!

And, an ironing board/iron, hairdryer and coffee maker with complimentary coffee packets.

You are saying that now the coffee is free ( the packets) wow they use to charge for that! Is it still that Nescafe' Coffee.... I am actually not a very big fan of that brand so I usually bring my own coffee. I am soooo excited!!!

Not only is the coffee free, but I find that when I use it the first day I'm there, I wind up with not just a replacement for the one I used, but at least one extra per day. That's a lot of coffee! The fridge is a great thing, too! I, too, used to rent, and am pleased that now I don't have to!

There is milk available both at the general store in the lobby (I can't remember in what sizes) and at the food court (cartons).

I think they had quarts and half gallons in Fultons (for about the price of a cow LOL), we got the quart and that worked out fine for us since we didn't eat all that often in the room.

We're going in May (me and DD-5yrs old) and the fridge will come in handy! Gotta have a quick breakfast so we can get a move on it and get to the parks! (DD is slow to wake up and loves to sleep in!)Thanks again!

Very recent, in fact I was wondering if they would all be done on time. When I first tried to book the vacation at the end of December, we couldn't get a room at POR -AB because they were being refurbished. When I called a week or two later, I was able to switch the ressie from value rooms to our beloved POR. By the time I got there at the end of March, I didn't see any more work being done and everything looked new.
