Does Pop Century have rollaway beds? Please don't slam me because as of now, I'm only thinking outside the box. Next trip to WDW will hopefully be in 2026. First time we went in 2017, we were a family of 4, now we're 5. It would cost at least 4 or 5 thousand more to get a second room. I thought if they have rollaway beds we could all squeeze in one room. I'm looking at moderate resorts that would fit us all. I'm just exploring all options. And to be honest, Disney doesn't appeal to my older kids as much as it used to. I wouldn't be surprised if my DH or one or both of my DD'S didn't want to come.

No, they do not. Pop Century sleeps 4, plus one infant/toddler under 3. They do have cribs for the baby. You didn't say how old your fifth person is, so it will only work if they are under 3. I tell you, though, those Pop Century rooms are tight. 5 people, even if one is a baby, is going to be REALLY cozy.
Perhaps you could go to a moderate with a 5th sleeper instead of 2 Pop Century rooms.

DS will be 6 when we go, so it's not going to work. Sigh!!!

Another economical way would be to book two rooms at one of the All Stars. Request connecting rooms. The rooms there are usually around $40 less per night than at POP and are identical in size and furnishings. How long are you planning to stay that a second room would cost 4-5 thousand dollars more? That is a lot of money for a second value category room.

I'm thinking about a 12 night stay. For example, say 4 people stayed in one room. I just went and put in the price for one person, 12 night stay including a 10 day park hopper at Pop and it came to around $4,500.

Your calculations are off. Even if all 5 of you stayed in one room you would still be buying the 10 day park hopper for the 5th person. What you need to do is price out a room at Pop or wherever else you might choose as a room only reservation with one adult (no tickets) to see what the cost of the second room for 12 nights would be.

That's a lot of nights. I would probably work backwards on this - come up with a budget and go from there. You may even want to consider staying offsite or splitting your stay, onsite/offsite, to save some money. There is no way I could spend 12 nights in a value room with 4 people. You will get a bigger bang for your buck with bigger spaces if you look at offsite options.

Wait, in Pop you can have 4 and then a baby?? If this is correct, that is the best news I have had today!

Yes, we did this a couple of times and even though it's tight, we still had a blast. It led to some interesting and funny situations. I know a lot of other families would dwell on the negatives but we have no issues being in close quarters:) Plus, it's 100 times better now because the murphy bed can fold up.

I will agree with others and check out a Mod with a 5th sleeper if you desire to stay onsite. CBR has the skyliner if that is a factor.
