Does Park Stay Open During Fantasmic?

Does anyone know if MGM Studios stays open (i.e., attractions running, shops open) during the Fantasmic show?

yes it sure does a great way to do the rides as the crowds disperse to the show

I think it depends on the time of the show. On Tues 5/25, there are 2 shows. The park closes at 10 PM, and I believe the 2nd Fantasmic starts at 10 PM. So the sides and shops I don;t think will be open then.

The park stays open until the posted closing hours and as long as you are in line for an attraction before close, you will get to ride it.

Sometimes the park closes at 10pm and Fantasmic may not happen until 10:30. All the rides will close at 10pm, but as normal, many of the shops will remain open for 30-60 minutes past park closing depending on the crowds. You would still want to be over at Fantasmic by 10pm to secure a seat, unless it is slow but they usually only have the second show when the crowds are larger.

Supposedly...We weren't allowed to ride ToT though and we were in line a good 40 minutes before the park closed...that guy must have wanted to get home early! That's happened to me several times at MGM, never any of the other parks. Some of the other rides I may have been getting in line less than 10 minutes before closing, but that one I remember checking my watch and thinking, there's NO way....
