Does online checkin work with DVC rental?

Have never rented DVC points before. Does online check-in work with DVC rental?

Yes.

However, you should have the DVC owner put through your room request with the reservation. Most of the online check-in options at most resorts are not applicable to the DVC units, at least at shared resorts like Beach Club and Boardwalk.

We rented DVC points at BW this past Dec, and I did online check-in. I just did it myself without involving the owner and got my requests (high floor and pool view). We went through a points rental service so it would have been a bit of a hassle to try to get the owner to do it.
